This morning along with the Guardian Friar Pritam we celebrated Mass for the Dominican Sisters of the Rosary....they do a lot of social work.....all of them go to the nearby slum ....have tuition n literacy classes, sewing classes.....visiting the families.....they collaborate and cooperate with our friars.....it was nice visiting them.....
Friar Pritam took me to see the property.....it is about 9 acres bought about 25 years but we have not been able to do anything....now the province of Holy Trinity trying to begin a friary and school...a lot of people have shifted to this area which is within the city limits of Bhopal.....the friars have started cultivating....it....
Br. Anand, ex-missionary of Uganda....is about 70 years old.....looks after the property......he has given it for lease.....he has great and big plans for the property....let us pray that they be materialised...
The friars have put up a compound wall for the entire property to protect from being encroached....to avoid the stray animals coming in especially the Cows.....he has cultivated vegetables all along the wall
He proudly says that he has planted about 175 fruit trees....and he is sure that within five years all will start yielding.....man of conviction and hope.....
