Here in UAE there are many Goans working. For all of them 3rd December is a big day as they celebrate feast of st. Xavier. He is called Goaincho Saheb means Goas Sir. Here in Sharjha tomorrow is the national day but holiday is granted today. So most of the expats are at home. All over UAE the feast is celebrated today. In sharjha the community is big. I participated in high mass celebrated by br. Cpriano goan capuchin along with brothers Rodson n Annie Xavier. I spoke few words at the end of the mass. Aftet the mass there was cultural program typically goan. Songs n dances with Mandao. Good celebration. May St. Xavier intercede for us.
