Capradosso di Rotella (AP), 22 settembre 1873 - Fermo, 26 febbraio 1909

Fra Marcellino Maoloni da Capradosso di Rotella (AP) was born on 22 settembre 1873. He was known by his companions and friends as a man full of religious piety and love for God. He was a humble friar who lived in intense prayer life with faith and turst in the Lord. He followed St. francis of assisi very closely and left no chance or stone unturned to imitate him. He was a true son of Francis in the Order of Capuchins where he lived a penitent life spending his time in prayer and contemplation. He was dear to God and people as he loved and cared for those who were suffering. He was well know for the life of mortification and a clear intelligence of the divine truth.  A serious sickness took aways his life and entered into his heavenly reward in the Convent of the Capuchins in Fermo on 26th February 1909. There are people who receive graces through his intercession. His process for the beatification is going on and people are praying that he be soon declared as blessed in the Church. A small chapel and a little bigger chapel in Fermo draw a lot people to pray at the tomb of Fra. Marcellion. It is a nice and quite place for prayer and contemplation.  I came here yesterday to spend two days. I have been visiting this chaple for last 7 years and i do experience the grace of God through our Friar Marcellino.
