Happy Feast of OLF and I am in Swiss

 Three visionaries

When i was a parish priest in the parish of our lady of fatima, Mumbai, i cam across an old woman who is no more who taught me how a devotion to Mother Mary should be. She said that it was mother mary who looked after her after her husband died leaving three children to care for. Her devotion to Mother Mary was so strong that in spite of many problems and difficulties she always found help and support in various persons. she taught me by her devotion that you need to believe that Mother Mary was a human and above all a mother. She knows the pain and suffering so it is easy for her to understand those who too have pains and sufferings. This old woman would pray rosary everyday without fail and novenas to Mother Mary were by heart for her.
For the feast of our parish she would pray 9 days novenas with fasting and penance. she would do this without fail and would also recommend her children and friends. One year while we were preparing for the feast she asked me if people could pray 9 days rosary without fail and offer these rosaries for those who don't believe in God and Mother Mary. I did accept her proposal and accordingly announced to the parishioners. it was a great success as many participated in this initiatives.
TODAY as we celebrate the feast of our Lady of Fatima let us remember all those who have gone away from Mothers maternal protection. The message of fatima was simple that is to pray. The visionaries declared the message to the world to pray and those who prayed did experience the blessing and protection of God and Mother May. The prayers of these visionaries has helped many and if we continue to do the same we too will be beneficiaries.
The message of Fatima: “Throughout history there have been supernatural apparitions and signs which go to the heart of human events and which, to the surprise of believers and non-believers alike, play their part in the unfolding of history. These manifestations can never contradict the content of faith and must, therefore, have their focus in the core of Christ's proclamation: the Father's love which leads men and women to conversion and bestows the grace required to abandon oneself to him with filial devotion. This too is the message of Fatima which, with its urgent call to conversion and penance, draws us to the heart of the Gospel”
