The Conclusion of the Retreat

On Saturday afternoon we concluded the retreat by Lunch. The morning session i dealt with the theme staying focused on our goal and aim. It was a power point session with various pictures from the Gospel. It dealt with Pessimism, optimism and moving forward.
On Friday evening we celebrated the sacrament of confessions for which a jesuit priest and parish priest were invited. The friars made best use of the presence of these two priests to make their confessions. The evening prayers was conducted with adoration and way of the Cross based on the scripture.
Br. John Fernandes, ex- provincial of St. Francis and now a missioner in Arunachal pradesh along with another friar joined the retreat. it was nice to have him amidst us.

Diwali celebration will last long for about 5 days....you can hear crackers all over and the decorations everywhere,,,,,
Friars Crispin and John J are responsible for the initial formation. They have 17 candidates this year. These two friars along with third one are full time formators. Br. Patrick is the manager of St. Francis Academy school here in Harayana.

The concluding mass were officiated by me with a 12 point message to carry home. To be faithful to our Charism and live the Capuchin spirituality by knowing the traditions and reading the constitutions.

We moved out of Delhi around 4 pm to Harayana which is about 5 hours drive. This is first time for me to this side of India. Its beautiful and amazing. The roads and houses are all lit because of the Diwali celebration.
I begin by visitation from Today onwards.
