Assisi Gramaashraam, Attapadi, Narsimukh

This is a prayer house which has got 10 acres of Land. The friars are involved in the garden as well as the pastoral activities for the near by parishes. There are two friars namely Br. Antony and Br. Job. Both of them work in the garden along with the workers. They have some cows and goats. The house is very simple and very much capuchin. It is surrounded by hills and on the boarder of Tamil Nadu state. The green environment makes anyone to fall in love with the place, The silence is great and leads to prayer. The most beautiful thing of this place is the long and big river flowing down the hills. There are 44 rivers which run east to west but this river Bhavani (Goddess) runs west to east. The water is very pure and medicinal. You can see people drinking the water directly from the river.
