The sisters are spending one week in prayer....they have adopted Capuchin spirituality....
The sky is clear .....and the Nature singing the glory of the Lord.....

George....is in full attention...he worked for number of years in Andhra Pradesh....now he is back to Province but goes for teaching....

The small huts and artificial caves are created for sisters and priests to spend time in silence and meditation....
Sister is the co-founder with friar Francis Dominic.....they have a contemplative house where sisters and priests come here to spend time in prayer....it is on the top of the hill....from where you can see the whole town of Kattapana...

These young women have hopes and dreams....many of them would like to be normal...they pray a lot..
These two were found on the streets...most of them are picked up by the police or people and brought here.....
Two of them are very sick...we blessed them
The entire group.......of centre for women.....they are 120 of them....
Sisters devote all their time for the service of these men.....joyfully they serve them....sometimes the patients become violent and the sisters have to be attentive....medicines are given on time....
They look contended and happy.....have found a home to belong and to be loved and accepted....
These two cannot walk....but full of life and joy....they make you laugh with their wit and wisdom too....
After breakfast they do some exercises and they have time for prayer and mediation.....
They sang songs for me....all of them just want to interact with you...unfortunate ones...180 of them...they need our support and help....
They wanted to know about me and my place of birth....
They narrate their stories....but very happy in the centre because they are well taken care of....good food and love they receive from sisters and people.....
These men love to talk to you....sometimes their conversation doesn't make any sense....they want to be blessed and touched....long for their loved ones....they express their desire to go back but they don't known their places.....i interacted with them in Hindi and Kanada, marathi too.....
Friar Francis Dominic who started a congregation named as Franciscan sisters of Destitute....in 10 years they have grown to be 50 sisters...all young and energetic....they have 8 centre for destitute...sisters are involved in taking care of these men...the congregation is growing...many would like to join as the apostolate is for the destitute...the local people provide many things...Francis Dominic and one sister took the initiative to begin the congregation,,,,,,,
The destitute home which is started by Francis Dominic....there are 180 mentally challenged men...they are from four Southern states of India...they don't known how they came here and don't even remember their addresses.....all of them under medication....the local people support them

These are postulants from 4 provinces St. Joseph, St. Thomas, Pavanatma and Nirmala Custody Assam. Very creative young men....do a lot of work too in the friary...they look after animals and also birds....
