Little Flower Ashram, Allppey

For more than 30 years theFriars are running this house as the formation house. here they conduct pre-postulancy program. The brothers are taught to appear for pre-university exams. The teachers along with the friars prepare our brothers for the examination. The brothers don't attend the college but have all the regular program of the college here in the friary. The teachers who come to teach are most of them teachers in school or colleges. Along with their pre-university studies the brothers are taught many other religious subjects. They are fully occupied with the studies and the regular friary life.

The friary and the church...it is on the National highway and you can expect many people to pay visit to the church

The grotto is just touching the high way....Mother Protects all.....it is on this high way that last year a young post novice died in the accident....he died on the stop.....his parents donated his organs to those who needed it.....the capuchin friar lives in many...God grant him eternal rest....
The altar and sanctuary is designed by one of the friars......

I can't dance but can sing....i taught the brothers a community building song....they were immediately on their feet.....oh my God....they can shake their legs.....

Cultural program...enacting the use of mobile......how it can destroy and distract people

Michael Jackson is remembered.....the students dance to his tune.....
It is India's 69th Independence Day....all over there is celebration mood....you can hear the National anthem being sung or played....it is a proud moment for all indians....it is a day of hope and joy...it is a day to remember all the people who sacrificed their lives to obtain independence.....

I felt honored to hoist the national flag.....

May we soar higher and higher.....May the world look up to Indians.....

Some faithful who stand in attention for hoisting the flag....

The young and the old....make life still younger....
There are 16 students for two years of pre-university studies and four friars who form them......they have also a chapel where three masses are celebrated every day....a good number people from all three rites come to attend the Mass.....i had the honor of celebrating this mornings Festal mass....the church was filled with people...the mass was at 6am...Independence day
