The Province of Slovenia is small in number but great in quality. The friars are young and energetic....the amount of work they do is great....they live very simple life and faithful to Capuchin traditions.....the province has a long tradition of Capuchin life....their friaries are very old like....300years and stuff.....we experienced the real Capuchin life which our early brothers lived....all work but all are present for fraternity exercises....all do wonderful ministry but return to the Family of Capuchins.....Great....i thank God for the Capuchins of Slovenia.....Hope it happens all over and we get back to our roots....how wonderful it would be.....
The newly Ordained friar celebrated Eucharist and gave his blessing.....May the Lord be with you and make you a great Capuchin priest of the Lord....
The friars have a garden and all of them work...they produce enough and sufficient vegetables and fruits for the community....the crop of Kiwis is bumper crop and they said that the fruits would be distributed to the entire province.....the fruit of my hard labour,,,,,the grace of working....good to see the friars work in the garden with the Habit.....do you remember someone......? I do remember our old friars who did this....
Br. Jure, our ex-general councilor paid us a short visit......he is the provincial of Croatia.....it is close to Slovenia.....he was welcomed by the General Minister......
A lay brother who has diploma in agriculture.....he works in the garden.......speaks very good English....here in Slovenia most of the people speak English.....that is great.....you can go around in the country if you can speak English
Its time to work, listen to one another....opinions and suggestions .....discussions and moments to take decisions.....reports sometimes lengthy but very interesting ones.....
Time to render a hand in the kitchen,,,,,,,we carried on what we do in the Curia,,,,,,friars young and old very enthusiastic.....our Sergio always leads us....whether it is in Curia, Frascati or anywhere else he is there to lead.....
Evan after his stay Ireland has learnt many things besides English.....
