Concluded the Visitation of Postulancy House

The visitation of the fraternity of Postulancy House got over this morning......the friars whom i met individually and 8 postulants also were interviewed. It was nice and good fraternal experience to hear the friars their hopes, aspirations, joys sorrows and sufferings....all of them just allowing the Lord to use them for His great glory and Mission. The young postulants are well looked after and formation is very good.....they feel at home and well accepted....have a very good rapport with the formators....it is a very fraternally and family atmosphere here....they are improving their learning skills and language too....all of them are from the province of Maharashtra.....
This house of postulancy is small hillock donated by a local Catholic....if you climb a little bit you can see the whole of Canacona town....it is all green.....the range of hills....where there are water falls and tribals live here...there are wild animals too.....but our friars are safe and sound...
You feel you are either in Swiss or some part of Europe,,,,,,a lot of tourist flock here because there is a sea shore....lovely and amazing one.....you just feel like lying on the golden sand.....very tempting sea shore....
Director Paul and me on top of the hill over looking the house...

It rains like cats and dogs here these days in the evening...it is called passing monsoon......the friars have a dog and a cat who play together every day...for the friars it is an entertainment and also an example too....that animals can play together and love each other why not human beings...why do we fight in the name of religion and called.....office and profession.....go beyond....forget....we are all pilgrims and strangers on the earth....we have to leave this home for our real abode in heaven
8 postulants.....all of them in their 20......full of hopes and desires to be good capuchins....one is a post graduate....has a lot of experience.....all are very good and docile....every ready to learn and to be corrected.....
it is me with the postulants....some of them were received in the Order when i was the Provincial of st. Bonaventure....i did not recognize but they did.....grown up and matured over the period of last three years...

Th fraternity...with the postulants.....Father Francis, our Founder....imparting his blessings on us....

The director in the Centre.....vice director on the left and economo on the right.....

An old bridge.....only small vehicles can pass....
