Jericho - is place of hope, Life and Miracles

Jericho is place of hope, life and miracles said our General Minister in his short but very effective ministry. He said that the blind man is asking light to see the world and to see the savior of the world, Lord Jesus. The blind man recognized Jesus and called him son of David. Through this recognition he showed his faith and trust that the Lord Jesus would heal him and the miracle took place. The blind man was blind physically but not spiritually. He saw Jesus with his eyes of Faith. the others tired their best to prevent him from expressing and demonstrating this faith but they all failed. His faith was stronger than the evil designs of the others. Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem but with the faith of the blind man he was able to stop jesus. Jesus did not avoid him but invited him to brought to him. The blind man gives up everything in order to be with Jesus. He gives up things, authority, money, property. To believe in Jesus he does not need all these things.  The faith of the blind man was his property. Even though he was blind he was able to see what was the truth and he saw it. When he received light, he did not get filled up with pride but used this gift to follow the savior of the world.
