7th Provincial Chapter of Holy Trinity Province, Karnataka begins with a prayer service

The 7th provincial chapter of Holy Trinity began in the afternoon at 3.15 with a prayer service.....before noon all the delegates had already arrived from the nook and corner of Karnataka which is one of the biggest states in India......the friars including guests friars from Italy and Japan, America and Uganda too arrived well in time.....the chapter has an international touch....
The guests friars including me as the president were welcomed with traditional shawl and bouquet of flowers....it was a fraternal gesture towards the guests who appreciated it a lot....
We are all in the chapel for the prayer service....we processed to the chapel with the lighted candles....I was carrying the Easter candle....the provincial and councillors lit their candles from the easter candle and then went about sharing the light with the others.......it was a touching moment....we then processed to the chapel where a statute of st. francis was well decorated.....was mounted on a table....we placed all our candles on a big plate placed there......
 The lighter moments....welcoming and embracing....
The gardens of FISI are ever green.....the whole campus is beautiful.....
we had hoisting of the flag.....before we began our session in the hall....
we are all together for the first session....my key note address.....the approval of the time-table and other commissions....
At 6pm Br. John Arumai presented a talk on the economy....the theme of the chapter is Fraternal economy and service to the mission....After his talk i presented a power point on the same theme....we have set a right note for the chapter....both presentations were well appreciated....we hope to have positive results....
