This is our new presence here.....the Capuchins are working since 9months or so....the Bishop has offered a small parish with few sub-stations.....the Catholics are farmers but unfortunately it does not rain regularly......this year they have rains.....but not sure how long.....the friars look after their spiritual needs.....ever since the friars have come there is a sea of change....the participation in the religious activities have grown.....the children are regular for the church.....the friars are involved in doing some social work....
The friars from the last fraternity reached me safe here....about 5 hours drive by road.....good roads.....
The Church is very old and it needs a renovation or building new one....any good and generous donor .........
Two young friars are serving here....Sudhakar is the parish priest and newly Ordained friar is assisting him.....a lot of activities.....the youth of the parish are devoting good amount of time to the church.....good beginning by the friars.....please pray for them.....
I went around in the village.....typical Indian village.....with the livestock in front of the house....running water....open sewerages.....but there is life in the village.....everyone knows who is who.....we were warmly greeted.....by young and old with folded hands....NAMASTE FATHER
The land belongs to the parish.....given for lease.....they have cultivate cotton.....
poor village......but now the young ones are getting educated.....there is hope and bright future....

The friary....it was the social centre of the diocese...which is temporarily given to the friars to stay....they have to put a small friary......a good future awaits for the capuchins here....
The friars run free tuitions for the children,,,,,,in the evening all the elders of the village come here and they spent time with the friars....
